Meow Town LLC Service Agreement
1. Overview
This agreement outlines the terms and conditions under which Meow Town LLC provides pet sitting and boarding services. By booking services, the client agrees to all policies stated herein.

2. Scheduling & Communication
• Appointments must be scheduled in advance via phone, text, email, or the software platform.
• Clients will receive confirmation of appointments once scheduled.
• Meow Town LLC cannot guarantee availability for last-minute requests but will be accommodated when possible.

3. Payment Policy
• Invoices are generated on the last day of service. Payment is due upon generation.
• Accepted forms of payment: cash, check (payable to Meow Town LLC), Zelle, Venmo (@meowtownlife), or Cashapp ($meowtownlife)
• Late payments (over 7 days past due) will incur a $20 late fee.
• Returned checks will result in a $30 non-sufficient funds (NSF) fee.

4. Insurance
• Meow Town LLC maintains current liability insurance through Pet Sitters Associates LLC.
• Proof of insurance coverage is available upon request.

5. Cancellations
• Pet sitting visits may be canceled at any time. To avoid charges, cancellation must occur before the sitter arrives for the scheduled appointment.
• Boarding cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance to avoid a 50% fee.

6. Home Access & Security
• Keys and access codes are stored securely and coded anonymously.
• Meow Town LLC will not grant access to other individuals (friends, family, contractors) unless explicitly authorized by the client in writing.

7. Liability
• The client releases Meow Town LLC from liability for damage, loss, or injury unless due to willful negligence.
• Meow Town LLC is not responsible for accidents or injuries to pets that are unsupervised or allowed outside per client instruction (e.g., through pet doors).
• The client accepts responsibility for any property damage caused by their pet(s) during service dates.

8. Pet Health & Safety
• Clients must inform Meow Town LLC of any health conditions, medications, or special care needs.
• Highly aggressive animals or pets with a prior bite history are not eligible for service.
• Pets must be non-destructive, non-aggressive, and controllable during service.
• Meow Town LLC reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services at any time if a pet poses a risk.

9. Medical Care & Emergencies
• In the event of illness or injury, Meow Town LLC will contact the client immediately.
• If the client cannot be reached, we will seek veterinary care at our discretion.
All veterinary costs and transportation fees are the responsibility of the client.

10. Medications
• Meow Town LLC will administer medications as directed by the client.
• Medications include injections (e.g., insulin), pills, eye/ear drops, fluids, and topical treatments.
• Meow Town LLC is not a licensed veterinarian and cannot diagnose medical conditions.

11. Photos & Media
• Meow Town LLC may take photos or videos of client pets during care.
• Media remains the property of Meow Town LLC and may be used for promotional purposes.

12. Pet Boarding Services
Boarding Requirements
• Vaccinations: Proof of up-to-date Rabies and FVRCP are required.
• Flea/Tick Prevention: Pets must be on an effective program. If parasites are found, treatment will be administered at the owner's expense.
• Temperament: Pets must be friendly, non-aggressive, and able to safely interact with humans.
• Spay/Neuter: Pets over 6 months must be spayed/neutered unless exempt by a vet.
• Health: Pets must be free from contagious illness, or untreated injury, and in good general health.
• Medication: Client will provide written instructions for each medication.
• Personal Items: Clients must label all items, including food, bedding, and toys. Meow Town LLC is not responsible for lost or damaged belongings.
Pick-Up and Drop-Off
• Drop-off and pick-up times are flexible but must be scheduled in advance to ensure availability.
• Abandoned Animals: An animal is considered abandoned after 7 days beyond the pick-up date with no communication or non-payment of services. Abandoned animals become the property of Meow Town LLC.

13. Agreement & Consent
By scheduling services with Meow Town LLC, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined in this Service Agreement. This agreement will remain in effect for future services unless revised or revoked in writing by either party.
